Hi, I’m Leah-Marie, the founder of the micro weave and I’ve been in the hair industry for over 15 years. My journey with hair extensions started out of a desire to help women feel their most confident, and over the years, I became passionate about developing a solution that would give lasting, natural results. At my salon, we specialise in dimensional colour, the micro method and micro weaves. I’ve spent the last few years perfecting the art of the Micro Weave, which is a hybrid between hand-tied wefts and machine wefts. These wefts lie flatter than traditional hand-tied extensions and can be cut on the seam like machine wefts, making them the ideal option for a seamless, long-lasting result. After using these micro wefts exclusively for the past 4 years, I’ve seen first hand how they outperform traditional hand-tied extensions in durability — lasting months longer even for clients who live active lives, swim, or are in humid climates.
